Loki (2021)

Marvel Cinematic Universe fans and Hiddlestoners the world over rejoiced as the Disney+ series Loki brought everyone's favorite MCU trickster back to life in the summer of 2021! Following the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019) that saw Tom Hiddleston's demi-god of mischief escape with the tesseract rather than get imprisoned in Asgard. This sort of retcons all of Loki's character arc all the way back to when he was a straight up villain, but that's okay because the exposition heavy Loki takes pains to bring the character up to speed when he is immediately imprisoned by the Time Variance Authority, or TVA for short. This bureaucratic agency maintains the integrity of the so-called main timeline of events, acting as a law enforcement and judiciary body that polices any deviations from the timeline, such as the one Loki caused by escaping justice. While the vicious Hunter B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku) and respected judge Ravonna (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) both want Loki locked up for good, Agent Mobius M. Mobius (Owen Wilson) thinks that the trickster can be employed as an agent for the TVA. Either way, we're most definitely on a collision course with wackiness! Hiddlestans will be pleased to know that our favorite lanky Brit got super cut for his return to the role that made him famous in the first place. Tom Hiddleston shows off his phenomenal physique in the first episode of the series and it's as close as we've gotten to glistening gratuitous homoeroticism on Disney+ since it's launch! We're not expecting to see his Hiddlebum anytime soon, but we'll settle for this look any day of the week. It's Loki hot!
