Mr. Man always says if you’re going to rely on a one-credit acting resume, make that one credit memorable. Argentinean actor Lucas Papa must have listened closely, as his role as Fernando in the homoerotic comedy/drama flick Taekwondo (2016) will stick in Mr. Man’s head forever. The film’s plot (what there is of one) is that Fernando has invited a guy from his Taekwondo class to hang with him and his friends in the country. As the San Francisco Bay Times describes it, “Set entirely in a country estate, the film depicts little more than nine hunky guys hanging out in various stages of undress.” (Yes, please.) The openly gay director, Marco Berger, shared he films characters, “in the way I would like to spy on them. I shoot the men putting my own desires in focus.” This translates to lots of on-screen naked times, with guys flashing abs, asses, cocks, and balls. Lucas himself strips for a shower in one scene, and removes a green towel in another. And, yes, Mr. Man can quite easily confirm Lucas is uncut. And lest you think this flick is only about hot guys, Lucas was actually nominated for a Silver Condor award from the Argentinean Film Critics Association Awards, for Best New Actor. It might have also been an award for Best Last Performance, or Best Only Performance, as that’s what it was for Lucas. While Google is wise and offers many answers, it has not revealed any further work by the hunk, in either the entertainment industry or other industries.
