With model-like looks, the mesmerizing Malachi Kirby seems like he belongs on a catwalk or the cover of a fashion magazine more than a London stage or the small screen. But the attractive Englishman has acting skills to go along with his chiseled features and fine physique. Indeed, he first started performing when he was a teen because his mum wanted to get him out of his shell. It worked since Malachi later trained at the Identity School. Since then, the London lad landed guest spots (Casualty, The Bill, Doctors, Doctor Who) and recurring roles (EastEnders, Silent Witness, Way to Go) on a host of British shows and TV movies (My Murder, Lawless, The Machine). As Spring Heeled Jack Burton in Jekyll and Hyde (2015), Malachi was named “Rising Star” by the Screen Nation Film and Television Awards. The sight of Mr. Kirby’s ebony chest on Black Mirror (2016) definitely made Mr. Man rise. The same can be said of Malachi’s topless turn on Curfew (2019). In fact, the luscious leading man brightened up the dystopian drama by flashing his perfect pecs and panties! He then thrilled fans as the star of the thriller Devils (2020). Yet the Black babe is best known for taking on the iconic part of Kunta Kinte in the History Channel’s reboot of Roots (2016). The eight hour miniseries will make viewers maxi aroused when they get a gander at Malachi’s abs. Suffice it to say, this Roots star has left us rooting to see his root!
