Sofia is an aspiring chef who grew up working in her family’s small restaurant in a small town in Spain. Mediterranean Food (2009) tells her story when she starts her career and falls in love with a long time friend. When another friend offers her a job at a five-star restaurant in Madrid she takes the job and leaves her fiancé behind. While working there she has an affair with the friend that got her the job only to have her fiancé reappear in her life. Suddenly, Sofia must balance her career ambitions while caught in a love triangle.
