Metal Hurlant Chronicles (2012-2014)

Metal Hurlant Chronicles is an epic anthology series from France that airs in the US on SyFy. Each episode is a different, self-contained story set in a world where the only thing connecting them is a large asteroid called the Metal Hurlant that is passing by the world on which the episode is set. Therefore there isn't a ton of crossover between characters or even worlds, but it is based in the same universe as the revolutionary animated film Heavy Metal (1981), so that should give you some idea of what to expect. But don’t expect much skin, Karl E.
