On September 27th, there’s a lot of blowing… of candles going on since that’s the birthday of A Martinez, Christopher Cousins, Shaun Cassidy, and Thomas Mann. Of course, we can’t forget to mention Michael C. Maronna who was born on that date in Brooklyn. Although the Big Apple babe kicked off his acting career as a kid (Home Alone, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York), he eventually landed a successful career as an electrician, working behind the scenes for movies (Men in Black 3, The Messenger) and TV (Blue Bloods, NYPD Blue). As a grownup actor, Mr. Maronna raised Mr. Man’s interest (and another part of the anatomy) when he exposed his sense of humor in the romantic comedy 40 Days and 40 Nights (2002). With his Italian, Irish and Dutch genes, Mike looks great in his jeans. Yet he proved size doesn’t matter when he popped up in the short films On Edge (2010) and The Adventures of Pete & Pete 20th Anniversary Reunion (2014). Michael also appeared on TV via his guest spot on Gilmore Girls (2000-2007) in 2003 and 2004 portrayal of a videographer in the TV movie Bad Apple.
