Even if you don’t know Michael Patrick McGill by name (and you probably don’t), you very likely have seen him in at least a few TV shows or movies, because he’s a classic example of a “that guy” character actor. It helps, too, that he’s worked very consistently in, by and large, high profile projects ever since he started acting in the early 2000s. He got his debut with a small role in Instinct to Kill (2001) and has since appeared in Just Shoot Me!, Malcolm in the Middle, NYPD Blue, Desperate Housewives, My Name is Earl, Passions, and ER, as well as in movies like Danny Collins (2015), Bad Words (2013), and Jersey Boys (2014). Recently, he’s also had a recurring role as Tommy on the Showtime series Shameless, which gave him an opportunity to get quite sexy. In one sixth season episode, we see him, along with a few other dudes of varying body types, take the stage at a strip club and strut their stuff for singles. He's got nothing to be ashamed about as far as we can see!
