Salma Hayek’s career took a huge leap in 1995. That’s when she appeared in Robert Rodriguez’s anthology comedy Four Rooms and his crime hit Desperado alongside Antonio Banderas who would become a frequent co-star. The year also marked a part in the American thriller Fair Game starring William Baldwin. If that’s not impressive enough, Salma played Alma in Jorge Fons’s Midaq Alley. Also released under the title The Alley of Miracles, this film is based on the book by Egyptian author Naguib Mahfouz. The drama takes place in a working-class area of Mexico City where Don Ru (Ernesto Gomez Cruz) runs a cantina. Various residents visit his place to share their stories. He too relays his tale. After being married for most of his life, the middle-aged man believes he might be attracted to a young dude (Esteban Soberanes). These two are seen playing around together in a shower where they are fully nude. In other words, they reveal their collective buns, pecs and same-sex preferences. In fact, the two really steam up the screen when they flash their pubes, cocks and balls while touching each other. It doesn’t get much hotter than that! The movie also includes Abel Woolrich, Bruno Bichir, Claudio Obregón, Daniel Giménez Cacho, Delia Casanova, Juan Manuel Bernal, Margarita Sanz, María Rojo, and Luis Felipe Tovar in his panties. Muchas gracias! Also known as El callejón de los milagros, this Mexican movie features dialogue in Spanish. Yet whenever the actors shed their threads, there’s no need for subtitles!
