There’s nothing the matter with Niall Matter! Even when the alluring oil rigger suffered a serious accident in the field, he bounced back to set his sights on show biz. After all, with his sturdy and studly Irish and Russian genes, the Canadian-American babe was made to light up the big and small screens! In fact, Mr. Matter began his career with a bang since he scored a main part on the teen drama The Best Years (2007) right out of the gate. Recurring roles on the sci-fi shows Stargate Atlantis (2007-2008) and Eureka (2007-2012) followed. The boob tube cutie also played Rick Paxton on Melrose Place (2009-2010); Greg on 90210 (2011-2012); Shane Cantrell on When Calls the Heart (2017); and Evan Cross on Primeval: New World (2012-2013). The latter stint proved to be a hit since Niall won a 2013 Constellation Award. The leading man also took home a Leo Award for his performance in the TV movie Frozen in Love (2018). In addition to starring in made-for-television films (Aurora Teagarden Mysteries, Marrying Father Christmas, Rip In Time), Niall exposed his… sense of humor in the direct-to-video comedy Dr. Dolittle: Tail to the Chief (2008). If that’s not entertaining enough, he also popped up in big budget productions, including the DC Comics superhero movie Watchmen (2009) and Shane Black’s sci-fi action flick The Predator (2018). Of course, we’re more turned on by Matter’s topless turn on the medical series Remedy (2015). Seeing Niall’s naked chest is just what the doctor ordered!
