Biography

Who says there are no bears in Israel? Big, burly and bearded, Israeli actor Ohad Knoller is exactly the type of teddy bear we'd like to cuddle up with on those chilly desert nights. Born on September 28, 1976, Ohad attended the Thelma Yellin Performing Arts High School in Tel Aviv and made his feature film debut in the teen drama Under the Domim Tree (1995). Ohad's next big role was in the gay romance Yossi & Jagger (2002), about two soldiers who fall in love while stationed on the Israel-Lebanon border; this is just one of Ohad's homosexual roles (he also played a gay man in the 2006 drama The Bubble), but sorry fellas: Ohad's straight and was married to actress Noa Raba-Knoller until 2011.
