Patrick (1978)

Patrick (1978) is an Australian psychological horror film about a nurse Kathy Jacquard (Susan Penhaligon) who goes to work in a psych ward. It is there that she becomes obsessed with Patrick (Robert Thompson), a young, brain-dead man who is the victim of rigorous tests by a crazy doctor. It isn't long before she realizes that although Patrick's body may be clinically dead, he has psychic powers that he begins using to control the young nurse, making her a puppet of his revenge scheme. Paul Young heats up the horror flick with two generous helpings of full frontal action while having sex. Also, Bruce Barry bulges out in his Speedo by the swimming pool while peeping on a chick. Maybe the film should’ve been titled “Paul and Bruce”?
