Poppy Field (2022)

Cristi (Conrad Mericoffer) leads a bit of a double life in Romania.  He's a hardened police officer for his profession, well respected in the machismo driven environment of the metro PD he works.  On the other side, he is a closet gay man, who has a tender and loving relationship with his long distance partner Hadi (Radouan Leflahi) and is desperate to keep these two sides separate from one another. One day Cristi is called to a movie theater to stop an increasingly violent protest of a gay film from a homophobic hate group looking for any excuse to cause damage to the gay community.  As he protects both sides from hurting each other, Cristi himself is dangerously close to being outed as a gay man by one of the protestors as his private, personal and professional lives all collide in one fateful evening on the job.  Conrad Mericoffer takes on the lead role in this Romanian drama and doesn't mind going full frontal in the first ten minutes!  Also, Radouan Leflahi shows off an amazing bulge in his tighty whities as they have a tender morning together after seeing each other for the first time in a long time!
