Cold Mountain (2003)

The Civil War throws a monkey wrench into the love lives of a wounded deserter and a preacher’s daughter in Cold Mountain (2003).  Inman (Jude Law) and Ada (Nicole Kidman) meet and fall in love when she moves to Cold Mountain.  Things are going skintastically until that pesky Civil War breaks out and Inman joins up with the Confederates.  As the war wears on, his patience and dedication wane and he skips out, determined to make it back to Cold Mountain and the woman he left behind.  The story is told through a series of flashbacks, so pay attention.

Jude Law would look good with a scraggily beard, covered in dirt and lying in a ditch.  Oh wait; he does all of that here and more.  A lot of his scenes with Nicole Kidman are tame toward the beginning of the film, but Jude makes up for the lack of skin by just looking fantastic. There is a passionate love scene late in the film where we get an extended view of Jude rolling in the hay and are treated to a brief, but skintisfying butt shot.
