What Planet Are You From? (2000) is a science fiction comedy directed by Mike Nichols and starring Garry Shandling, Annette Bening, and John Goodman. This comedy follows an alien from a planet of emotionless beings who reproduce by cloning. The alien, Harold, is sent to Earth with a mechanical, noisy penis to impregnate a woman on Earth and stay until she gives birth. After several failed attempts at copulation, Harold finally finds a woman who agrees to marry him but soon he finds himself feeling emotions for the first time.
