I Can Do Bad All By Myself (2009)

The second of two Tyler Perry films in 2009, following Madea Goes to Jail (2009), was the comedy I Can Do Bad All By Myself (2013) which is not based on the stage play of the same name and is a wholly new, original film from Perry. Madea (Perry) catches teenager Jennifer (Hope Olaide Wilson) and her two younger brothers Manny and Byron attempting to rob Madea's house. She takes the children to their closest living relative, their aunt April (Taraji P. Henson), a nightclub singer living off the wealth of her married boyfriend Randy (Brian White). Naturally, the rapscallions start out raising hell, but they'll grow to love one another before the movie ends, which is all you want from these movies. As a bonus, we get some brief PG-13 bare buns from Brian White when he nearly gets electrocuted in the tub! Now you can go do what you need to do, all by yourself!
