Cast Away (2000)

Tom Hanks gives a tour de force performance in Cast Away (2000), a movie that tells the story of a man who washes ashore on a deserted island after his plane crashes into the ocean. He struggles to survive before finally deciding he must risk it all and attempt to escape.

Tom is the only person on screen for about 85% of the movie (unless you count his soccer ball companion Wilson) and his physical transformation is incredible. When he arrives on the island he is an average guy with an average build. As he crawls up onto the sand the weight of his soaked clothes pull his pants down and we get a little glimpse of this legend’s butt cleavage. Later, after he has spent substantial time on the island, Tom is lean, heavily bearded and has gone from wearing regular clothes to wearing just a loin cloth. His body is as tight as drum and while he looks a little haggard and too thin, it is nearly naked and it is hot enough that you will be pulling out your lower Bosom Buddies for a little play time.

Cast Away won six Oscars including Best Actor for Hanks and Best Picture. It is a stunning achievement and features a performance for the ages by one of the greatest actors on the planet. That he is half naked through much of the movie is an added Skinbonus that makes Cast Away that much better.
