Roar (2023)

The Berlin International Film Festival got a little dose of sexy in 2023 when the Indian series Roar - also called Dahaad - debuted in front of a thirsty audience. But Roar is actually a dark mystery series, despite the THOTing that Vijay Varma gets up to. So what is Roar (Dahaad) about? An investigator looks into the disappearances of twenty seven young women in a town in Western India that seems unbothered. The investigator's name is Anjali Bhaati, and she's played by Sonakshi Sinha. Naturally, as Anjali looks into these disappearances, she discovers that they may be connected, and that the common thread may just be a serial killer on the loose. We're not going to lie, we're here for Vijay Varma, as we always are. He plays a college professor and he teaches us a lesson in anatomy when he goes shirtless while in bed! Roar leaves us wanting more, but we're not sore, because we still feel like a whore!
