New Jersey native Robert Blake has been acting since he was five years old when he appeared in some of the latter day Our Gang shorts. He transitioned from child star into adult actor mostly by playing heavies in various westerns, genre flicks, and television series in the 50s and 60s, but people really sat up and took notice when he played the role of real life murderer Perry Smith in the Oscar nominated adaptation of Truman Capote's In Cold Blood (1967). Blake kicked off the 1970s by headlining several exploitation flicks, including the cult classic Electra Glide in Blue (1973) where he showed off his sexy dad bod in some tighty whities! Blake would soon become well known for playing the hardscrabble title detective on the hit series Baretta, before transitioning to more terrifying character parts, most notably in David Lynch's Lost Highway (1997)!
