The rugged Ron White is an American actor and stand up comedian best known for the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. Ron has appeared in Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Movie (2003), Ron White: Behavioral Problems (2009), and Horrible Bosses (2011). Ron is also the author of the New York Times best seller I Had the Right to Remain Silent But I Didn’t Have the Ability. Ron was born in Fritch, Texas on December 18, 1956. Ron joined the United States Navy at the age of 17 and served on the auxiliary rescue and salvage ship USS Conserver at the end of the Vietnam War before deciding to pursue comedy. He is well known for drinking scotch and smoking cigars while on stage. Ron gets shirtless for his role as Phil in Showtime’s musical comedy Roadies.
