Smarty- and stretchy-pants Sam Trammell studied at Brown University and the University of Paris before getting his start in showbiz. He made his Broadway debut in 1995's The Rose Tattoo, his TV debut in 1996's Harvest of Fire, and his feature film debut in 1996's The Hotel Manor Inn. Luckily this sexy silver fox didn’t keep those trousers on for long. 1996 was a bigyear for Sam, as it also marked his first nudie gig on the big screen as Greg Chute in the romantic dramedy Childhood’s End. Sam's breakout role wouldn't come until 2008 as the shapeshifting hunk Sam Merlotte in the steamy vampire show True Blood.
