Sanctuary (2023)

What is it about men in power being sexually aroused by paying a woman to come over and sexually humiliate them? That's what the two-hander Sanctuary (2023) wants to get to the bottom of, with Christopher Abbott starring as Hal, a man on the cusp of becoming CEO of his company following the death of his father. Though he presents a normal face to the world, behind closed doors he has what he claims is a purely transactional relationship with a dominatrix named Rebecca (Margaret Qualley). However, just as he makes an attempt to break off their relationship, Rebecca kicks into high gear and begins to escalate things to the point where both of their lives are in danger! While we'd love to tell you this flick is as sexy as the premise makes it sound, there's no nudity from leading man Christopher Abbott, who does go shirtless, but never doffs his duds!
