Sex Drive (2008)

The topic of sex drives people to the cinema — especially when the movie is titled Sex Drive (2008). Thanks to the direction of co-screenwriter Sean Anders, this racy romp offers fun and buns! The laughs kick in when an Illinois high schooler named Ian Lafferty (Josh Zuckerman) meets Ms. Tasty (Katrina Bowden) on the internet and decides to drive to Tennessee to meet her. His friends Lance Nesbitt (Clark Duke) and Felicia Alpine (Amanda Crew) accompany him to Knoxville in a 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge snagged from Ian’s mean older brother Rex Lafferty (James Marsden). Suffice it to say, general mayhem and potty jokes ensue as the pals encounter a hitchhiker (David Koechner), a carney (Brian Posehn), and an Amish dude (Seth Green). The movie also features the rump on Mr. Duke’s butt double. How cheeky! At least, Clark can be seen donning boxer shorts while showing off his bare chest and handcuffs when his character is in bed with randy Brandy (Andrea Anders). Not to be outdone, Brandy’s father (Josh Duarte) sits in a chair with his prosthetic balls hanging out of his underwear. Best of all, we get to see Mr. Zuckerman naked (but cupping his crotch with his hands) after Ian undresses and is left by some girls who steal his brother’s wheels. That ass is revving our engines! Based on the young adult novel “All the Way” by Andy Behrens, this R-rated flick includes the song “Let’s Get It Up” by AC/DC. Don’t worry, we’re already there!
