Skin (2018)

Take it from us, audiences love skin flicks. Even if they aren’t porn pics, people all over the world enjoy seeing skin-themed productions from Australia’s Under My Skin (2020) to Spain’s Skins (2017) with the British series Skins (2007-2013) featuring Daniel Kaluuya, Dev Patel and Nicholas Hoult in between. In fact, there’s skin content for fans of every genre. Take the Blake Edwards comedy Skin Deep (1989), the chiller diller Skinned Deep (2004), the action movie Skin Trade (2014) starring Dolph Lundgren, the thriller In Her Skin (2009) with Guy Pierce, and the documentary Skin: A History of Nudity in the Movies (2020). Of course, we can’t forget the drama Skin (2018). Not to be confused with the short film Skin (2015), this feature-length biopic is based on the true story of Bryon Widner (Jamie Bell) who lived as a Neo-Nazi skinhead when he was a young man. Yet with encouragement from his new wife (Danielle Macdonald) and political activist Daryle Lamont Jenkins (Mike Colter), Widner decided to leave his hate-filled ways behind. Speaking of, we get to see Mr. Bell’s behind when he and Ms. Macdonald have a love scene at the 44-minute mark. Better yet, Jamie goes all out just 15 minutes into the flick. When his character is arrested and handcuffed, he reveals his tattooed thighs that say “snitches get stitches.” We hope it’s not considered snitching to tell you the actor exposes his abs, ass, sack and shaft! Needless to say, Jamie can ring Mr. Man’s bell anytime!
