Soul Food

Based on the 1997 movie of the same name, Soul Food stars Nicole Ari Parker, Malinda Williams, and Vanessa Williams as sisters trying to hold their family together after the death of their mother, Josephine (Irma P. Hall). Produced for Showtime, this seventy-four-episode-long series was the longest-running drama with a predominantly black cast in the history of TV, and it served up nudity too, from smoking hot stars Boris Kodjoe, Darrin Dewitt Henson, Rockmond Dunbar and Obba Babatunde.
