We suspect Steve Bassett’s biggest asset is his ass. Alas, the alluring actor has never displayed his nude booty in any movies. Through the years, the sexy brunette kept his clothes on for most of his roles. As such the squeaky clean stud scored several stints on soap operas. He played Dr. O’Neill on Guiding Light (1999); Det. Scott on Another World (1992-1993); and a minister on One Life to Live (2011); as well as Seth Snyder on As the World Turns (1983-2009). The prime-looking performer also popped up in prime time with guest spots on The Fall Guy (1984), The Twilight Zone (1985), American Playhouse (1989), and The Good Wife (2011). In between, Steve could be seen in the PG-13 movie Ratboy (1986) with Sondra Locke and the R rated crime drama The Jackal (1997) with Bruce Willis, Richard Gere, Sidney Poitier, Sophie Okonedo, and Jack Black. As impressive as that cast of A-listers is, we prefer to watch the built babe and his batch of bros in Spring Break (1983). The sex comedy features the fit physiques of Paul Land, Perry Lang, and Steve (in his skimpy swimwear). If that’s not hot enough, the topless hottie also touts his tanned torso throughout the film. Of course, Mr. Man wishes Mr. Bassett would have dropped his drawers in some of the scenes. But other than flaunting his naked chest, the only thing Steve exposed was his sense of humor in this R rated romp. Looks like the joke is on us.
