For five years Steve Carell was a supporting player in The Daily Show With Jon Stewart, but the Massachusetts native was made for bigger things. After graduating from Denison University, Steve moved to Chicago where he joined the famed Second City improv troupe (where he would meet and become friends with Stephen Colbert). After a few years kicking around making guest appearances on shows and even doing some writing and voice work for Saturday Night Live, Steve got his big break when he landed a part in Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004) then followed that up with his long run on the very popular American remake of the British classic The Office. From there, a string of high-profile parts including an Oscar nomination for his dramatic work in Foxcatch (2014) made him popular. Of course, it was his role as the titular The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005) that made him a superstar. The chest-hair-removal scene still makes audiences hot and bothered at the same time! His wife, Saturday Night Live alum Nancy Walls, played his girlfriend on The Office and a sex therapist in The 40-Year-Old Virgin, both roles she likely has expertise in. Lucky lady. We get lucky when we get to check out a nude Steve relaxing on a couch in Battle of the Sexes (2017). In the scene, Steve is doing a photoshoot in the nude with only a well-placed tennis racket to cover him up. We don’t see the dangling goods, but there is a hell of a lot of skin! Mr. Carell tends to play things for laughs and occasionally dips into drama. In the future, he may decide to strip for the laughs or the drama. Whatever the reason, we can’t wait.
