The Office (2005-2013)

The NBC superhit The Office follows the foibles of the off-kilter office cogs at the Scranton branch of the Dunder Mifflin paper company, where every day is a daffy drag. Regional manager Steve Carell manages to be everything but a bearable boss, and the only person who doesn't mind his antics is kiss-up co-conspirator Rainn Wilson, a total pain in his own right. Stunned by all the silly stupidity, salesman John Krasinski whiles away his workdays mooning over receptionist Jenna Fischer, who's as baffled by the banal insanity as he is. The Office strayed farther and farther from its original concept over its nine seasons, but if you stick it out until the last episode you'll be rewarded with Spencer Daniels in his skivvies. That's my kind of pencil pusher!
