Strange Daughter (2017) is a German flick about two cultures clashing when young love becomes teen motherhood. Lena (Elisa Schlott) is a rebellious blonde stuck living with her trashy mom Hannah (Heike Makatsch) in a rundown apartment. Hannah's an unemployable mess, but Lena's not exactly a model citizen either. She almost never goes to school, stays out all night, and does random jobs around town to try and fund her party-girl lifestyle.
