Someone is listening and someone is watching in the crime thriller The Anderson Tapes (1971). When professional criminal Anderson (Sean Connery) is released from his ten-year prison term, he runs to the arms of his former lover, Ingrid (Dyan Cannon), a wealthy and affluent babe living in a luxury apartment on the East Side of New York. The felonious fellow doesn’t waste time getting back to his criminal ways, and he starts to devise a plan to gather a connected gang and rob the well-to-do tenants of the luxurious apartment complex. Little does the ambitious thief know that several law-enforcement agents covered the building with security cameras and monitoring equipment in hopes that Anderson will lead them to some mob kingpins. It’s only a matter of time before the ambitious heist turns into a bloody mess. While the classic film is full of tension, there’s very little skin. The best we get is a brief look at Sean Connery and Christopher Walken shirtless and wearing towels as they head to the prison shower. We’d like to do some hard time with these two!
