Despite the fact that high school only lasts for four years, the complex social dynamics which arise during that time have lasting effects beyond graduation. At least that’s the case with The D Train (2015), also known as Bad Bromance. Thanks to the writing and directing team of Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogela, this comedy follows a not-so cool dude named Daniel Landsman (Jack Black). He was the head of the high school reunion committee in his youth but years later he’s still saddled with deep-rooted adolescent insecurities. As such, he worries that if poorly attended, the fast-approaching reunion will reflect badly on his social standing. So Dan becomes a man with a plan when he decides to convince the most popular guy in school, Oliver Lawless (James Marsden), to attend. Little does Mr. Landsman realize that his trip across America to fetch Mr. Lawless will change his life forever. If you don’t know where this is going, let us fill you in. Oliver kisses Dan and fills him in the butt! We get a quick bit of their sex scene as well as a longer, lingering view of the two in their undies. A shirtless Mr. Marsden struts his muscular bod in black briefs and Mr. Black lets his hairy chest hang out while donning tighty whities. Like his ass-tastic performances in Mars Attacks! (1996) and Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny (2006), Jack flashes his plump rump in this movie. No wonder we want to board The D Train!
