As its title suggests, The Girl on a Motorcycle (1968) gets around! As its alternate title Naked Under Leather suggests, the movie includes nudity. In fact, it was the first film released in the States to receive an X rating. But it was eventually edited down to get an R rating. Also known as La motocyclette, this skinternational flick stars French actor Alain Delon and English rocker Marianne Faithfull as forbidden lovers. The plot kicks off when the newly-wed Rebecca (Faithfull) wakes up naked one morning and decides to leave her boring husband Raymond (Roger Mutton) for her sexy ex Daniel (Delon). Needless to say, Ms. Faithfull is unfaithful! While on the highway of love, Rebecca indulges in some erotic and psychedelic memories as she mentally revisits her relationships with Raymond and Daniel. But before Rebecca can make it to Daniel, she tragically crashes into a truck, abruptly ending her life as well as her upcoming tryst. But just because she doesn’t get her happy ending, doesn’t mean you can’t have one. In other words, check out the footage of Alain’s bare body. While lounging around in the buff, we can ogle his toned torso. If that’s not arousing enough, the black-haired beauty shows off his thighs during a flashback. Or should we say flesh-back? Although the film markets Marianne as a female Johnny Strabler (Marlon Brando) from The Wild One (1953), Mr. Man prefers to fantasize about Mr. Delon straddling a motorcycle. Just the thought gets his engine running. Vroom, vroom!
