A vacation gets serious (and sexy) in the French arthouse drama L'Homme de sa vie (2006), or, The Man of My Life. Frédéric (Bernard Campan) has a wife and kids and a picture-perfect life. He takes the family on vacation to the equally picture-perfect French countryside. There they meet the man in the château next door, Hugo (Charles Berling), an out and about gay man whose favorite pasttime is late-night skinny-dipping. One night Frédéric and Hugo start chatting about life and love and relationships ... and they don’t stop til dawn. From that point on, the attraction between the two is palpable, and Frédéric’s life -- and everything he thought he wanted -- is turned upside down. As far as turning pants upside down (and taking them off), Berling obliges by skinny-dipping in the moonlight several times, and, although we get to see his full moons, we sadly never get to see his big dipper.
