The Tailor (2023)

Suddenly we're hungry for turkey. Turkish men, that is! The Tailor is an incredibly twisted Turkish series about a tailor whose life... unravels... after the death of his grandfather. Our titular tailor Peyami (Cagatay Ulusoy) must take in his father, who we discover is mentally disabled and has the mind of a child. Peyami grew up ashamed of his father and goes to great lengths in The Tailor to continue keeping him a secret. Meanwhile, Peyami's professional life is no walk in the park. His evil financial backer Dimitri (Salih Bademci) has been abusing a woman that he insists Peyami makes a wedding dress for. This poor woman is going to be wed to Dimitri, even though he does terrible things like locking her in the trunk of a car. We have to admit, we really wish that Cagatay Ulusoy showed more skin here as he is absolute perfection. However we will settle for his financier Dimitri, who shows his butt after a sad and intense sex scene. This Tailor is really throwing us the scraps!
