THe Turkish Netflix series Letters From The Past takes place in present day and 2003, and is about a woman who discovers a surprising letter while going through her ailing mother's old things. Elif (Günes Sensoy) discovers that her mother Fatma (Ipek Türktan) is not actually her birth mother. In an envelope is an ultrasound picture and a letter to Elif. So what's a girl curious about her past to do? She visits the high school where her mother used to teach, at which point the series takes us back in time to 2003, where we learn about some past events that had lasting consequences for Fatma and a group of her students. One of the fellas is named Mert, and his present-day self is played by the beefy Onur Tuna! He takes off his shirt in some brief shots that give Letters From The Past a much-needed man boost. Forget the past, we want some ass!
