The True Don Quixote (2019)

Despite being a notoriously cursed story to adapt, Miguel de Cervantes' "Don Quijote de la Mancha" is still being turned into films over five hundred years after it was written. The latest adaptation of the classic tale, The True Don Quixote (2019), brings the hopeless romantic dreamer into the modern age. O Brother, Where Art Thou's Tim Blake Nelson stars as a man hopelessly out of touch with reality, whose only escape from the outside world is in reading Cervantes' epic. One day, he actually convinces himself that he is the titular windmill tilting nobleman and sets out to find fortune, fame, and adventure all without ever leaving his Louisiana neighborhood. Spider-Man Homecoming's Jacob Batalon co-stars as Nelson's Sancho Panza, accidentally stumbling on the delusional Don Quixote as he does nude calisthenics at the beach. The scene comes right at the one hour mark and we get a nice look at Nelson's tight little tush while he does a nude handstand, along with some manbush as he collapses to the ground and Batalon helps him get his boxers on (boo to that!). Also along for the ride is Morgan Roberts, playing a character named Carl who is this story's equivalent of the lovelorn Don Clavijo, and we get a sexy scene of him in the woods in nothing but some briefs, showing off his tight sexy body! This ragtag band of delusional dreamers is finally assembled, and while we could have used a little more skin in this modern adaptation, we'll settle for what we do get to see because it is quite breathtaking!
