What do Oliver Reed, Matthew Macfadyen and Vincent Cassel have in common with Tom Burke? They all portrayed Athos in The Three Musketeers. For Tom it was in a BBC production that ran from 2014 to 2016. But before he was swashbuckling on the small screen, the London lad was training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Of course, Mr. Man is more interested in Mr. Burke’s royal anatomy. As the godson of Alan Rickman, it’s no surprise Tom is a talented thespian. Perhaps that’s why the handsome hottie sizzles on stage (Design for Living, Romeo and Juliet); on film (Furiosa, The Invisible Woman, The Libertine, The Souvenir); and on TV (All the King’s Men, The Crown, The Lazarus Project, Strike). The boob tube babe portrayed the title role in the televised biopic Casanova (2005) with Peter O’Toole; Dr. John Seward in the TV movie Dracula (2006) with Rafe Spall; Napoleon Bonaparte on a 2007 episode of the history series Heroes and Villains (2007-2008); Bentley Drummle in a three-part adaptation of Great Expectations (2011); and Fedor Dolokhov in the miniseries War & Peace (2016). Unfortunately, the pretty performer didn’t let us see his piece in any of these period pieces. No wonder, they’re called costume dramas! Fortunately for us, Tom flashed his ass in the British flick True Things (2022). If that’s not arousing enough, he made his nude debut in the horror movie Donkey Punch (2008) which includes views of his abs, ass, shaft and sack. Nothing scary about that!
