Tom of Finland (2017)

During his lifetime, Finnish artist Touko Laaksonen (1920-1991) was dubbed the “master with a pencil” as well as Tom of Finland (2017). Based on a script by co-producer Aleksi Bardy, this skinternational biopic is directed by award-winning filmmaker Dome Karukoski. It tells the true story of Laaksonen (Pekka Strang) whose homoerotic renderings of built blokes had some art critics scratching their heads while flesh fans were reaching for other parts. Nevertheless, the artist found fame in post-war Helsinki despite the disapproval of his sister (Jessica Grabowsky). For nearly 30 years, Tom was in a relationship with dancer Veli Mäkinen (Lauri Tilkanen). As such, we get to see Mr. Strang and Mr. Tilkanen make out with each other against a lovely landscape. The same can be said for Jack (Jakob Oftebro) and Doug (Seumas F. Sargent). Of course, these arousing scenes pale compared to the ones featuring Pekka’s pecker! Just two minutes into the movie, the naked babe and a bunch of other nude dudes bare their collective pecs, buns and junk when running into the icy water for a Polar Bear Plunge. Sure, Finland is known as a cold, dark country but according to this pic the men are bright and hot! Speaking of, Strang later flashes his abs, sack and shaft when he gets out of bed at the 33-minute mark. We’re guessing this revealing scene helped the drama win a Fipresci Award at the Göteborg Film Festival. Heaven knows, the sexy flick earned a standing ovation from Mr. Man’s prick!
