Tyger Drew-Honey sounds like a sentence you’d read in Winnie the Pooh. But it’s the moniker for an English ingénue. The lucky lad was discovered at the tender age of six years old while performing in a school play. Tyger’s chance encounter with a talent agent led to an enviable acting career with appearances in a number of successful productions from across the pond. Between voice work (Scream Street, Sadie Sparks) and live appearances (BBC Click, Friday Download), the busy bloke has popped up on everything from Red Bull commercials to popular sitcoms, such as Outnumbered (2007-2016) and Citizen Khan (2015-2016). Even though he’s not a household name in the States, Tyger nabbed a British Comedy Award nomination in 2009. Since then, the dashing chap could be seen on the big screen (Horrid Henry: The Movie; Me, Myself and Di; Up All Night) and heard on the radio (All the Blood in My Veins, The High Lodge of Revelatory Pleasures, Mr Blue Sky). Of course, Mr. Man is cuckoo for Mr. Drew-Honey’s role in Cuckoo (2012-2019) since the sitcom showcases the strapping young man’s bare chest and bulging briefs! The comedy stars Andy Samberg as a hippie who clashes with his girlfriend’s rigid parents. Speaking of rigid, you’ll love Tyger’s bedroom scene, wherein he begins to jack himself off.
