There are very few people in Hollywood that measure up to the greatness and bombastic personality of William Shatner. Born in Canada and born to be in front of camera, William made his movie debut as a crook in the flick The Butler’s Night Off (1951). Yeah, not many have actually seen the obscure movie. It wasn’t until William portrayed Dr. Carl Noyes on the hit television series Dr. Kildare that the American people started to fall in love with the Shat. Of course, everything really changed when William boarded the Starship Enterprise as Captain James T. Kirk on the groundbreaking sci-fi series Star Trek, which eventually led to the beginning of the Star Trek movie franchise in 1979. Ream us up, Scottie! In the Roger Corman comedy flick Big Bad Mama (1974), William got completely nude during a bedroom romp scene, but we unfortunately don’t see any of the good parts. What a tease! It was in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (1986) that we got to see the Shat minus a shirt, and our love affair for the handsome captain was soon rekindled. As William went on to recurring roles on popular shows like T.J. Hooker, TekWar, $#*! My Dad Says and The Practice, he looked handsome but he frustratingly left his clothes on. All us true geeks have had many fantasies involving Shatner, his Star Trek uniform and a bottle wine. It’s just too bad the handsome gent didn’t give us enough fleshy scenes to feed of need for all things Shat!
