Roma (2018)

Before Steven Spielberg did the same thing with The Fablemans (2022) it was Alfonso Cuaron crafting his sort of autobiography with the 2018 film Roma. Based partly on Alfonso's childhood, the film takes place in 1970's Mexico City where the dirt-poor Indigenous woman Cleo Gutierrez (Yalitza Aparicio) works as a maid for a wealthy family. She often bonds with Sofia (Marina de Tavira), the family patriarch Antonio's (Fernando Grediaga) wife who knows that his frequent business trips are just an excuse for his infidelity. Cleo gets knocked up by her boyfriend Fermin (Jorge Antonio Guerrero), only for him to flee the scene to avoid all that responsibility. She'll track him down alongside Sofia, only for him to have joined a paramilitary group and threaten to beat her if she doesn't leave him alone. He won't help her with the kid. Sofia knows she has to tell her kids what their dad is doing and dump him and all his duckets, and overall, the future doesn't look bright for anyone. It's a moving, beautiful film that took home the "Best Foreign Language," "Best Director" and "Best Cinematography" Oscars, but its best scene is definitely when Jorge Antonio Guerrero is naked in the bathroom and decides to show off his sweet nuts-out ninja moves. This hottie is in the bathroom when he takes off the shower curtain rod and uses it to show off his martial arts skills with his skin stick in full view. He's completely naked and letting his rather long dong dangle as he uses the rod like a bowstaff to the delight of the woman watching him. When in Roma, do as Jorge does and get butt naked!
