You may not be able to put time in a bottle, but you can capture it on film. Take the movies 10 to Midnight (1983), 9½ Weeks (1986), 40 Days and 40 Nights (2002), 2 Days in Paris (2007), 2 Days in New York (2012), 7 Days in Havana (2012), 4 Nights in the Hamptons (2014), 7 Days in Hell (2015), 7 Minutes (2014), 11 Minutes (2015), 59 Seconds (2016), 2:22 (2017), 5 Years Apart (2019), 8 Days (2019), 2050 (2019), 365 Days (2020), 6:45 (2021), and 8 Years (2022). The latter pic also goes by the title 8 años because it’s a Spanish language flick. Under the pen and direction of JD Alcázar, the drama follows Jose (Miguel Diosdado) and David (Carlos Mestanza) who have been together for the last — you guessed it — eight years. One day, David blindsides Jose by breaking up with him. Now distraught and alone for the first time in nearly a decade, Jose runs through his memories before coming to the realization that their relationship probably wasn’t as perfect as he thought and maybe the breakup is for the best. Luckily, this film wastes no time getting down to the good stuff with Señor Diosdado and Señor Mestanza baring their buns when having fun in the bedroom. If that’s not hot enough, they steam up the screen while streaking through the streets at the 4-minute mark! And when the guys display their naked T&A in the jungle, 8 Years will give you 8 inches!
