A California Christmas: City Lights (2021)

Hallmark-esque Christmas movies have stepped out of the shadows and into the light in recent years. These silly projects used to be relegated to obscure networks and watched by cat-obsessed divorcees, but now even Netflix is cashing in on the world's appetite for cheesy wholesome Christmas fun. Last year the streaming platform rocked the Christmas movie world with the hit A California Christmas. Our Christmas wish was for a sequel, and thankfully we now have one with A California Christmas: City Lights! Why do we care about the California Christmas Cinematic Universe, you might ask? Because Josh Swickard. That's why. In the original, he plays a ruthless suit from the city who goes out to the country to swindle a woman out of her valuable land. In order to do so he imitates a ranch hand, and gets a taste of country life... and of the woman (Josh's real-life wife Lauren Swickard) in the process. But in City Lights, Josh must head back to the city for some unattended business, where he's lured by the hustle and bustle that he left for his new quiet country life. Will these two make it after all? You'll just have to see to find out. We're simply here for the bod. Josh Swickard is just... wow. In this sequel, he once again shows off his ripped and tan bod while working on the farm. As with the original, we also get a sexy shirtless bedroom scene. If it ain't broke! Hole, hole, hole, merry California Christmas everyone!
