A Day and a Half (2023)

The Swedish Netflix Original Movie En Dag och en Halv, or A Day and a Half (2023), is co-written, directed by, and stars Fares Fares as Lukas, a police officer preparing for what he thinks is going to be just another day on the job. Unfortunately for him, a desperate man named Artan (Alexej Manvelov) is going through a contentious divorce with his ex-wife Louise (Alma Pöysti) and has just abducted her from her job at gunpoint, demanding that he be allowed to see his young daughter. Undoubtedly, the next 36 hours are going to be unusually intense for everyone involved! Just ten minutes into the flick, Fares Fares strips down to his underwear in order to confront the hostage taker, nicely showing off his bulge as he attempts to negotiate a surrender. Too bad he didn't surrender his underwear for the occasion!
