After Darkness (1985)

The legendary John (Nineteen Eighty-Four) Hurt and the luscious Julian (A Room with a View) Sands light up the screen in After Darkness (1985), not to be confused with After Everything (2023) starring Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Aftersun (2022) with Paul Mescal, Aftermath (2017) featuring Arnold Swarzenegger, After Dark, My Sweet (1990) showcasing the skin on Jason Patric, or After Hours (1985) featuring Griffin Dunne, John Heard, Richard Cheech Marin and Thomas Chong. Written and directed by Sergio Guerraz and Dominique Othenin-Girard, this chiller diller tells the story of Peter Hunningford (Hurt) who is trying to get his suicidal younger brother Laurence (Sands) released from a mental institution. Peter believes that spending one-on-one quality time with his sibling will help cure his problems. Whether or not this is a good idea remains to be seen. Speaking of seeing things, we can’t take our eyes off of Julian’s bare bod. This is especially true when the dude gets nude just 10 minutes into the movie. During the skintastic scene, we can ogle the beautiful body on sexy Mr. Sands. The blonde Brit was just starting out when this film was made and we’re so glad it serves to preserve his fit frame. When the naked knockout climbs into the bath, we get to glance at his abs. If that’s not arousing enough, Julian shows off his backsack and ass! Even though he’s in a tub full of ice, this guy is smoking hot. In other words, he puts the thrills into this psychological thriller!
