Aki Avni wears a Speedo. And how, you ask, does Mr. Man know this? Is it because the hot hunk of man dons one in a movie? Has Mr. Man spotted him on the beach? Nay. It’s because Aki has the most gorgeous tan lines. The Israeli actor stars as Dr. Ben Rubin in the movie Ha-Shiva MeHodu (2002), aka Open Heart, and bares his beautiful bottom in more than one scene, his cheeks considerably paler than his muscular thighs. While early in his career, the movie wasn’t his first appearance before a camera. After performing in a few flicks in his native Israel, he nabbed a starring role as Lt. Ido in the TV series Tironoot, or Basic Training, from 1998-2001. After his Speedo reveal, the model and actor headed to the States to try his luck in Hollywood and introduce his special brand of hotness to Hollywood. He landed guest-starring gigs on 24 in 2003, JAG and Huff in 2004, as well as Standoff in 2006 and The Unit in 2007. Aki hit the big screen, too, starring as Julio opposite Natalie Portman in the international drama Free Zone (2005), and as Agent Randle in My Mom’s New Boyfriend(2008) with Antonio Banderas and Meg Ryan. While all this was going on, he also remained faithful to Israel, playing the leading role of Elan Attias for 90 episodes of Ulai Hapa’am from 2006-2008. If action is your thing, though, you’ll probably recognize him from Universal Solider: Regeneration (2009) with Dolph Lundgren, where Aki plays General Boris. Speedo not included.
