Almost Family (2019-2020)

The short-lived Fox drama Almost Family (2019) is a remake of the 2017 Australian show Sisters, though it dodged most of the moral conundrums that one centered around. A family drama unlike anything else, on the show renowned fertility doctor Leon Bechley (Timothy Hutton) is known for being able to get any woman pregnant. But, unbeknownst to both his daughter Julia (Brittany Snow) and the rest of the world, he accomplishes this by using his own sperm to knock these ladies up. Since he's been doing it for decades, when the truth is revealed Julia learns she has a ton of siblings out there, including the pill addicted former gymnast Roxy Doyle (Emily Osment) and a lawyer Julia knew and hated for years who will end up representing Leon in his criminal cases, Edie Palmer (Megalyn Echikunwoke). Together, they will grow close while coming to grips with their unique situation and figuring out who their more than one hundred other half-siblings are. Critics hated how this one ignored how traumatic an event like this would actually be, unlike the Aussie drama which presented the doctor as more of a monster for what he'd done. That might explain why the show only lasted one season, while the Aussie one was far more successful. The sisters have to be careful they don't accidentally end up in bed with a member of the family, but that doesn't stop them from doing some baby-making with all sorts of hot dudes. At one point, we get to see Mo McRae shirtless and sexy while he's putting on his fancy clothes in preparation for a date. If shirtless Mo was in front of us sporting abs like that, then we would hope and pray to not be related! That was almost a nude scene in Almost Family.
