October Faction (2020)

When the Allen family returns to their father Fred's hometown in upstate New York, you would assume that this TV show is more of a slice of realistic drama about a family coping with loss and facing new challenges.  Welp, this isn't that show!  October Faction, based on the eponymous graphic novel, is actually about mom and dad being globetrotting super-secret agents for a clandestine organization that hunts the supernatural...  So as they set aside all badassery they learned over to years to go to upstate New York to live out their days, they soon discover that even the sleepy hollows of the Empire State hide monsters and mayhem and might not be as idyllic as previously assumed!  This Netflix series stars the ever-impressive Tamara Taylor as the monster mashing matriarch of the Allen clan, Deloris.  Raising her teenage kids alongside fighting off the forces of evil, should be an interesting assignment.  Her hottie son Geoff (Gabriel Darku) helps out where he can if he's not too busy locking lips with the dishy Praneet Akilla for some steamy action in this one!  Let's hope these two keep the heat coming as October keeps getting colder and spookier!
