With a name like Angus Macfadyen, you know this Scottish beefcake has got to be hot! Big, burly and bearded, Angus has what it takes to take our breath away! Born in Glasgow and reared in Africa, France, Singapore and the Philippines, Macfadyen attended the University of Edinburgh and the Central School of Speech and Drama in London. Since then, he played Robert the Bruce per his movie debut in the Oscar-winning epic Braveheart (1995). Angus was so convincing in the part, he later produced and starred in the biopic Robert the Bruce (2019). In between, he could be seen as other real-life figures, including Welsh movie star Richard Burton in Liz: The Elizabeth Taylor Story (1995); dictator Adolf Hitler in Snide and Prejudice (1997); English actor Peter Lawford in The Rat Pack (1998); Hollywood filmmaker Orson Welles in Cradle Will Rock (1999); ancient Roman Marcus Crassus in Spartacus (2004); British pirate Blackbeard in Blackbeard (2006); American frontiersman Robert Rogers in Turn: Washington’s Spies (2014-2017); explorer James Murray in The Lost City of Z (2017); Scottish spy Allan Pinkerton in The Pinkertons (2014-2015); and English occultist Aleister Crowley in Strange Angel (2019). Macfadyen’s fictional portrayals are equally impressive, from Zeus in Jason and the Argonauts (2000) to Jor-El in Superman & Lois (2021). Of course, Angus really thrilled fans in the thriller .45 (2006) since he bares his broad chest, bare ass, and a bit of balls! Too bad the skintastic act takes place as he farts. Talk about being a gas!
