With a gorgeous set of baby blues, a deliciously fit bod, and an incredibly sexy on screen persona, Ashton Holmes proves there’s magic in a certain first name. Originally from Albany, New York, the hot boy was destined to be a star from day one. He began his acting career at the young age of six on stage in community theater productions. The first time we got to witness this handsome stud on camera was when he landed himself the role of Jeff in the little-seen movie Advising Michael (1997). He did the usual round of TV pop-ups in such poppable series as Law & Order: SVU, Cold Case and Ghost Whisperer, before landing a semi-regular gig as Scott Little, a recurring character on Boston Legal in 2006. He was PFC Sidney Phillips in The Pacific in 2010, Thom in Nikita from 2010-2011, and Tyler Barrol in Revenge from 2011-2012. We’re treated to shirtless version of Ashton in Being Mary Jane, where he played Garrett in 2017. Holmes (no relation to Sherlock, but rumor has it he’s a ninth cousin, once removed, of Sam Claflin) is also no stranger to feature films, although most of what he’s been in you would have to be a prolific movie-watcher to have seen. He did have a part as Jack Stall in A History of Violence (2005) with Viggo Mortenson, appeared with Emily Blunt in Wind Chill (2007), got down to his boxers in Smart People (2008) with SJP, and hung with Bruce Willis in Acts of Violence (2018). Huh. It appears as if the name Aston not only signifies hotness, but an affiliation with Bruce, too…
