Beggars and Choosers (1999)

The president of a television network, his scheming Vice President of Development and the high maintenance television stars they have to deal with make up the core of Beggars and Choosers (1999).  Each week this comedic look at the inner workings of a television network poked fun at how TV deals are made, how the network navigates bad ratings and finances and how executive must placate “artists” whose demands are more ridiculous than some of the programming ideas that are pitched. The series was created by former NBC executive Brandon Tartikoff and based on his own experiences.

Airing on Showtime gave the series some latitude when it came to flashing flesh.  There is quite a bit of soft core sexual activity spread throughout the episodes.  The attractive men of the cast seem to enjoy showing their gym sculpted back ends in various locations and positions.  Justin Carroll’s character Nigel is a nudist.  Let your mind wander to the possibilities…just not too far. All his up fronts are on the down low, so no shots of Little Nigel.
